SOFTWARE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Software Support Specialists are responsible for:
- ensuring the delivery of high quality support
to ensure the highest level of customer
satisfaction
- understanding fully the software and its
functions
- identifying the customer’s problems
- resolving and following through on all calls
in a timely manner
- building and maintaining strong working
relationships.
Other responsibilities include:
- responding/resolving customer inquires /
product issues via phone and e-mail support
- product support for our AdvancePro software
- product support for all modules belonging to
the AdvancePro product line
- product support for all our web based modules
- training end users using the internet
- ability to work with a cross functional team
- excellent technical proficiencies
- ability to multi-task and work independently
- conducting (pre and post sales)
customer-training sessions utilizing web-based
tools
- development of training materials
Skills required:
- senior student/undergraduate degree with
computer-related major/minor preferred
- experience working with applications in
installation, maintenance and product upgrading
capacity.
- excellent organizational skills
- excellent English verbal and written
communication skills
- good trouble shooting skills
- knowledge/experience with EDI, E-Commerce,
Quickbooks, accounting packages a plus
- experience with SQL Server a plus

In this position you are responsible for:
- Acquiring and maintaining a
working knowledge of the complete capabilities of
AdvancePro’s product and services
- Qualifying warm leads that are
provided to you
- Maintaining an active pipeline
of forecasted sales to meet monthly quota
objectives.
- Out bound leads generation
- Managing the full sales life
cycle – from prospecting, lead qualification, and
account strategy to closing
- Meeting and exceeding monthly
established targets
- Developing and maintaining a
consultative relationship with new buying accounts
- Providing input to other
cross-functional departments pertaining to
prospect requests and product enhancements as
needed
Additional Qualifications:
- A university degree/college
diploma or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 1 year inside or
outside sales experience in Software, Hardware, or
Business Services to end-users, developing new
business
- Strong organizational skills,
proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook,
Internet
- Excellent English oral and
written skills including experience drafting sales
and marketing messages
- Successful experience relating
technology to a non-technical audience
- Proven ability to continually
achieve and exceed assigned quotas/goals
- Knowledge of competing vendor
offerings a plus
- Account management experience a
plus
